<h2>Why Teach Sight Words?</h2>

<p>Sight words are words in the English language that do not have a simple one-to-one correspondence between sounds and letters; in other words, they must be memorized and instantly recognized. They make up over 50-70% of total words in an average non-technical text. Children who can quickly recognize sight words can read better by focusing on inferring unfamiliar words while still understanding most of the text. Learning sight words is crucial for substantial reading improvement.<p>

<p>Action Sight Words Games application gives children an easy-to-use interface and a selection of six fun educational games to help them master this subject matter.</p>

    <li>FLASH CARDS: Practice with flashcards by listening to the word pronounced repeatedly.</li>
